Health Pre-Employment Medicals

Employers have a common law duty, as well as an implicit duty under The Health & Safety At Work Act 1974, to ensure their prospective employees are fit for their specific employment and are aware of potential risks to their health. Carrying out an appropriate pre-employment/pre-placement assessment will go a long way to ensuring this duty is satisfied.
